Edward B. Claxton III
Edward B. Claxton III (Bo) was born and raised in Dublin, Georgia. He was graduated from Dublin High School. He received his college undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Georgia in 1979. He was graduated from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, in 1982. He was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 1982 and to the State Bar of South Carolina in 1996. Mr. Claxton is admitted to practice before the Court of Appeals of the State of Georgia, the Supreme Court of the State of Georgia, the United States District Court and Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the United States District Court and Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Georgia, the United States District Court and Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Georgia, the United States District Court and Bankruptcy Court for District of South Carolina, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.
Bo is a member of the Dublin Circuit Bar Association, serving as its Secretary/Treasurer in 1985-1986, its Vice-President in 1986-1987, and as its President in 1987-1988. He is a Sustaining Member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimant’s Representatives.
Bo’s primary practice areas are in Bankruptcy, Social Security Disability, Real Estate, Personal Injury, Probate and Civil Litigation.
Being active in the community is an important as part of his practice of law. He is a member of First Baptist Church, the Dublin Rotary Club (serving on the Board of Directors for 1991-1992, 1993-1994, 1998-1999, and 2014-2015 and as President in 2015-2016). In Rotary, he is a Paul Harris Fellow and a Will Watt Fellow. He served as Chairman, Dignitaries Committee Dublin-Laurens County St. Patrick's Festival (1983-1984). Member of the Laurens County Chapter of the American Cancer Society (Executive Board 1984-1989, Vice-President 1987-1988, President 1988-1989, Chairman of the Board 1989-1990). Executive Board of the Dublin-Laurens Clean and Beautiful, Inc. (1984-1989). Member of the Laurens County Historical Society (Board of Directors, 1984-1987 and 1990, President 1987-1989). President of the Friends of the Laurens County Library (1986-1989). Member of the Georgia Power Consumer Advisory Council (1986-1987). President of the Georgia Library Trustees and Friends Association (1987-1989). He has served a number of terms on the Board of Directors of Easter Seals Middle Georgia, Inc.
Bo began his general practice of law in 1982 with the firm of Jones, Jones, and Hilburn in Dublin. The firm later became Jones, Jones, Hilburn and Claxton. In 2000 the firm dissolved and Bo began work as a solo practitioner.
Bo enjoys the practice of law. He and his qualified staff continue to work to fulfill the goals of their clients.
Karen A. Schuldt
Karen A. Schuldt joined Edward B. Claxton III, Attorney in Law in 2007 as a Legal Assistant to handle claims for Social Security Disability benefits. Before joining Claxton Law Firm, Karen had more than 30 years of experience working for major corporations throughout the country. Something that stands out about Karen is her dedication to helping Georgians obtain their Social Security Disability benefits. In addition to Social Security Disability claims, Karen handles the day to day operational tasks at Claxton Law Firm.
When Karen is away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and seven grandchildren. Karen is dedicated to her faith and services her church as a Sunday School teacher and the Mission President.
Hayley Howell
Hayley Howell joined Edward B. Claxton III, Attorney in Law in 2020 as a Legal Assistant to handle the front desk operations as well as assistant for Social Security Disability claims. She enjoys being a part of the process of helping clients obtain their Social Security Disability benefits. Prior to joining Claxton Law Firm, Hayley worked for the major corporation of Chick-Fil-A, there she gained exceptional customer service and organizational skills.
When not at work, Hayley enjoys spending time with family and traveling to new places.
Michelle Foskey
Michelle Foskey joined Edward B. Claxton III, Attorney at Law in 2020 as a Legal Assistant handling Bankruptcy, Foreclosures, Probate, Personal Injury and Civil matters. Before joining Claxton Law Firm, Michelle has had more than 20 years of customer service experience with national corporations.
Michelle is a Dublin native and has lived in Dublin for most of her life. She has three beautiful children, Ashton, Brianna, and Owen.
When Michelle is away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, working out, and singing gospel music with her family group, Hand in Hand.
Over the past four years, Michelle has been a professional wrestling ring announcer and was voted 2020 Georgia Wrestling History Announcer of the Year. She has worked with the largest Independent Wrestling promotions in Georgia and can be seen on FITE TV as well as IWTV and travels all over Georgia and surrounding states working for professional wrestling promotions.
